1. Movie Trailer/ Short Film Assignment:
- We will be reading a number of suspense stories within these two months.
- For this extra credit assignment, student can recreate any of the stories/ teleplays/ radio plays that we read in class.
- Using movie maker software, students will choose one of the stories we have read in the months of October and November to recreate.
- Once students have created their short films or trailers, they will premier them for the class to watch and enjoy.
- Students can use this assignment to replace any low classwork/ homework grade.

What:
The question of the day and the vocab of the day are brought to you by USA Test prep. The questions are changed daily and are all based on the 7th grade ELA standards.
Where:
You can find the question of the day and the vocab of the day on this site.
- Scroll to the top of the screen
- Hover your mouse over the "MORE" tab until the drop down column appears on the screen
- Look for and click the tab that reads "QUESTION/VOCAB OF THE DAY"
- Once you do that, you are taken to a screen where the questions are located

Write an detailed narrative based on one the pictures from the TIME 100 photos. The link will be below. Create a story that represents the image, feel free to add on details or put your own spin on the historical truth of the image.

-Your narrative should include VIVID IMAGERY
-Be free of grammatical errors
-Must have a beginning, middle, and end
-Uses transitions
-Is consistent in the point of view you chose
-Is typed or submitted as a final draft in blue or black ink

Below you will find a choice board of writing topics. Choose three writing topics to write on. You must complete a paragraph for each. To get credit you must have three separate paragraphs for three different topics.
